It has been a few weeks, but we are back at it…MPMC, Turlock, electric fan woes, Mustang, and more!
Mustang Rear End is IN!
Turlock, California 2015
Move over Grand National Roadster Show, we decided to go back to the Turlock swap meet this year for a change of scenery. This is one of the largest automotive swap meets held at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock, California. We’d have to say this is probably one of the best, and biggest, swap meets for vintage 1920’s through 1960’s American car parts on the West Coast. This event is open to the traditional hot rod aftermarket parts vendors as well; but there are no pin-up girl contests, live bands or vintage re-pop sunglasses. It’s hard, original American parts.
Vintage everything. Bikes, cars, motorcycles, scooters, tools, tractor parts, appliances, wood tools, power tools, signs and everything in between. There is plenty of junk in-between the gems so grab some Kettle Corn and take your time. The only thing we really didn’t plan on was the 48° foggy and overcast weather throughout the day. You’ll have no problem working off some unwanted calories by walking for 6 hours each day at the two-day event. We’ll even bet that the deals can be made as Sunday comes to an end. Bring a trailer, wagon, or handcart and plan your 2016 trip now: http://www.turlockswapmeet.com/
