The second annual “Girls in the Garage, All-Girl Car Show and Fashion Exchange” was on March 25, 2017 at The Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo, California. The main focus for this event is women involved with automobile racing, restoration, education and pure enthusiasm. It’s a chick’s vision for their old custom or muscle cars and they even wore the clothes to match the time period of their own rides! There were a variety of mostly 60′s American domestic cars such as Dart, Bel Air, Nova, Studebaker, Chrysler 300, Baracuda, Falcon, Torino, Cadillac and much more.
Patti Monroe, one of the organizers stated that they had such a large number of requests since the first show two years ago, they decided to do it again. It wasnt just about cars, they also had a large area for the women’s boutique for clothing inside the museum.
The Girls in the Garage is a car club that gets together monthly to work on their cars and attend automotive related seminars.
